Infosys Springboard and Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has established the Makerlab to Enhance STEM Skills and Employability

Symbiosis International (Deemed) University in Pune, in partnership with Infosys Springboard, has launched a ground-breaking Makerlab dedicated to providing young learners with practical, hands-on experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. This initiative aims to significantly enhance their skills and bridge the gap between academic learning and the demands of the modern workforce. The Infosys Springboard Makerlab, accessible to students from all Symbiosis schools and colleges as well as nearby educational institutions, features a wide array of advanced technologies. Students will have the opportunity to work with educational DIY kits and equipment related to science, electronics, robotics, microcontrollers, Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), drones, and 3D printing. This focus on experiential learning with cutting-edge tools is designed to equip students with the skills essential for success in Industry 4.0, automation, and the ongoing digital transformation.
