As our campus continues to grow, our programs and services are instrumental to enhancing and supporting a healthy community. While our signature contributions to a healthy campus are physical activity and social connectivity, our organization has a diverse set of offerings that contribute to multiple aspects of wellness. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is developing students who will provide leadership in their future communities – affecting policy and culture in the places they live. Developing a conscience and commitment for life balance, sustainability, and positive psychology has the potential to shape healthy communities beyond our campus and into the future. Sports play an integral part in the SIU educational experience, and we are well-positioned to affect the wellness beliefs and behaviours of individuals and groups in the SIU community. We will continue to collaborate with key campus partners to ensure campus wellness needs are being met for a healthy university community.
