Symbiosis University recently inaugurated the Infosys Makers Lab on its Lavale campus on December 27, 2024. This state-of-the-art facility, developed in partnership with Infosys, provides students with access to cutting-edge technology and fosters innovation. The lab will also support the Symbiosis Infosys Springboard initiative, empowering students with digital and life skills. The lab was inaugurated by Hon'ble Prof. (Dr.) S. B. Mujumdar, Founder & President of Symbiosis. Key dignitaries, including Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director, and Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, Vice Chancellor, were also present. The Symbiosis Infosys Pragati program, a 12-week initiative aimed at empowering women with career skills, was also launched during the event. The Infosys Makers Lab is accessible to all SIU students and faculty, encouraging innovation and exploration.
