Advancing Global Healthcare Education: Symbiosis Students Embark on the GRIP Program in Japan

The Global & Regional Interprofessional Education Plus Program (GRIP) is revolutionizing healthcare education by fostering collaborative, culturally competent, and innovative problem-solving skills, and recently, fifteen students from Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID), Symbiosis College of Nursing (SCON), and SCAC of SIU embarked on a transformative journey to Chiba University, Japan, under the prestigious GRIP scholarship through SCIE. This initiative, part of Japan's MEXT program and operated with Chiba University, aims to develop interdisciplinary healthcare professionals capable of addressing global health challenges, contributing to SDG 3 and WHO's universal health coverage goals, while providing students with invaluable cross-cultural insights and international best practices.
