Academics Department

The formation of the Academics Department of Symbiosis International University (SIU) dates back to 2002, when Symbiosis was granted the status of a deemed-to-be university.

Over the last 20+ years, the Academics department has evolved from performing a single function - that of ensuring statutory compliance with the requirements of SIU and external regulatory bodies—to a department playing a more active role in the pursuit of academic excellence across all Programmes offered at SIU. The department started with one staff member and expanded to a team of 10 trained and qualified professionals from the field of education.
