Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common written test for the admission processes of Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International (DeemedUniversity). However, it is only the first step. In addition, a candidate has to register for institutes as per your choice.
The Candidate is required to upload a latest scanned photograph of own at the time of online registration. This will generate your SNAP ID. For different modes of payment different ‘Payment Advice’ formats are created. Choose a payment mode and print a ‘Payment Advice’ form online.
Step 2.Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1550/- according to the payment mode.
The 4 choices are:-
PAYMENT THROUGH CASH:
ØPay cash only at an Axis Bank branch. After online SNAP 2010 registration print ‘Axis Bank Challan’ from SNAP website, this is in 3 parts. Pay Rs. 1550/- in cash at any Axis Bank branch in your city. Refer to the list of branches on the website. The bank will return two stamped parts of the ‘Axis Bank Challan’ to the candidate stating that it is the ‘Student copy’as a receipt.
ØSign the stamped ‘Symbiosis copy’ of the ‘Axis Bank Challan’is required to be sent toSymbiosis Test Secretariat at the following Address,

PAYMENT THROUGH DEMAND DRAFT:
ØA demand draft for Rs. 1550/- from any Nationalize Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
ØSign the single copy of the ‘Payment Advice’ form for DD and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at the following Address.The photocopy of the Demand Draft be kept for further references.

International Students.
Symbiosis Centre for International Education takes care of International Students aspiring for admission to the Institutes of Symbiosis International (DeemedUniversity).
(At the Postgraduate Level) A student is eligible to apply as a Non Resident Indian (NRI) if he/she has appeared either for the 10 or 10+2 (equivalent to the Indian 10 & 10+2) examination or Graduation outside . It is mandatory for one of the two qualifying examinations to be given outside .
It is mandatory for the Postgraduate Students who fall in the NRI Category and have appeared for their graduation in India to appear for the SNAP TEST.

It is a mandatory written test for the admission process for the undergraduate programmes of the Symbiosis institutes. However SET is not mandatory for the Symbiosis instititute of Technology (SIT) and Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS).

SET is only the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process.
How to Register For SET – 2010.
Step 1. A candidate can register for one paper from the morning session viz. Law or Engineering or Health Sciences and one paper from the afternoon session viz. General or DesignRegister at www.set-test.org .This will generate your SET ID. You need to upload latest scanned photograph (in the given format and size) of own at the time of online registration.
Step 2.Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1400/- towards the Test Fee and the prospectus of undergraduate programmes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). The university Admission Cell will courier a copy of prospectus to the address registered atwww.set-test.org
You have four (4) choices for payment. For different modes of payment, different ‘Payment Advice’ formats are created. Choose a payment mode and print a ‘Payment Advice’ form online.
a) CASH:
This ‘Payment Advice’ form is in three parts. Pay Rs. 1400/- in cash at Axis Bank branch in your city. Refer to the list of branches on the website. The bank will return two parts of the ‘Payment Advice’ form to you. The ‘Student copy’ is your receipt.
Sign the Symbiosis copy of the ‘Payment Slip’ form stamped by Axis Bank and send it to the following address,
b) DEMAND DRAFT:
Get a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1400/- from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
Sign the single copy of the ‘Payment Advice’ for Demand Draft and send it along with Demand Draft to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat at following address,

c) ONLINE PAYMENT THROUGH CREDIT CARD:

The SET website allows a facility for payment towards online Application for the Institutes along with SET 2010 Payment. The Institutes are:

Step 3. Admit Card should be printed from the website.This will be operative from April 21, 2010 to May 2, 2010.Ensure the following.
Generate and print the Admit Card from the SET website.
Bring the Admit card to the Test Center in addition to a photo-identity.
An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following:
a.Passport
b.Driving license
c.College / Institute identity card
d.Credit card with photograph.
e.Voter Id Card
At the time of the written test, it is mandatory to produce the photo identity as described here. Symbiosis Authorized Person will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photo-id.
Please preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further selection processes of individual Institutes.
Note: Please note that no duplicate Admit Card will be issued in case it is lost by the candidate.
Important:
SET Registration Fee is non-refundable.Please note that claims for refund of the SET Registration fee will not be entertained on any account.
At the time of filling online application form or while appearing for SET test, any attempt to impersonate or indulge in any other malpractice would automatically disqualify the candidate from admission processes of all under Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International ( Deemed University) and make the student liable to legal prosecution as per the laws of country.
Every student is urged to note that no donation or capitation fee is required to be paid for admission to any of the Symbiosis Institutes. Students are cautioned against falling prey to any such assurance/offer by any individual or outside agency.
